About The Position

The Cedars is a nationally recognized non-profit senior living community offering a full continuum of care. Our services include short-term rehabilitation and long-term care for 102 residents across three distinct neighborhoods within the Hoffman Center. We are committed to delivering exceptional, resident-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment. The Nurse Manager (RN) is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical operations of a 30-bed rehabilitation and long-term care unit. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care while supporting and mentoring nursing staff. The Nurse Manager collaborates closely with interdisciplinary teams to promote optimal resident outcomes.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maine
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to providing exceptional resident care
  • Availability for on-call rotation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience
