About The Position

Palm Point Behavioral Health (affiliated with Universal Health Services) is a 74-bed behavioral health hospital is located in Titusville, Florida minutes from Cape Canaveral. Palm Point Behavioral Health treats adults, children and adolescents that suffer from a wide range of behavioral health diagnoses including, depression, anxiety and substance abuse in a modern and well-appointed facility. Palm Point behavioral health offers inpatient treatment options and serve communities in Brevard County and beyond. Titusville, located on Florida's Space Coast, is approximately 30-miles north of historic Cocoa Beach, and 40-miles east of Orlando's famous theme parks. In Titusville, you can tour the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and Canaveral National Seashore. Palm Point Behavioral Health is seeking a dynamic and talented Nursing Manager to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. The Nursing Manager will provide direct supervision for all nursing personnel and ensure consistency with hospital philosophy relating to quality patient care through effective leadership. The Nursing Manager will collaborate with the supervisory and administrative staff to ensure the provision of high quality nursing care on a 24 hour a day/7 day a week basis. The Nursing Manager will also be responsible for coordinating supervision and direction of staff within all units. The Nursing Manager will make rounds on assigned units to assist with problem solving and coordinate the flow of the daily work routines. The Nursing Manager will assist in identification of opportunities for improvement, responsible for data collection and analysis of performance improvement monitors.

Requirements

• Education Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN.
• Licensure and certification Required: Current FL State Registered Nurse licensure. CPR
• Experience Required: Requires five years of psychiatric experience and two years of management experience.
