The Nurse Manager/Wound Care RN at Evansville Manor, a skilled nursing facility within the Eden Senior Care Network, plays a crucial role in overseeing the nursing department's daily operations to ensure high standards of resident care. This position is responsible for developing and implementing nursing services, objectives, policies, and procedures in compliance with Federal and State regulations, as well as local standards and guidelines. The Nurse Manager will design, implement, and evaluate nursing systems that guarantee consistent delivery of care while maintaining and promoting resident rights. In this role, the Nurse Manager will conduct nursing rounds on all units several times per day, including at the beginning and end of each shift, to ensure that residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect. The Nurse Manager will also participate as a member of the facility's interdisciplinary management team, contributing to planning, policy formation, and administrative decision-making, with a particular focus on nursing services.
