Work Schedule and Hours: Full Time Monday - Friday 8a - 4:30p Unit Availability: Adult Behavioral Health Unit:provides treatment to patients between the ages of 18 and 65 who are suffering from thought disorders or other co-occurring disorders. Examples of the types of disorders that are treated on this unit include, but are not limited to, the following: Psychosis Schizophrenia Schizoaffective disorder Delusional disorders Co-occurring substance use disorders Experiencing behavioral disturbances related to dementia or other cognitive disorders Experiencing mood disturbances and/or struggles related to grief, loss, and other adjustment TrustPoint Benefits: TrustPoint Hospital provides a comprehensive package of benefits for our nurses. PURPOSE STATEMENT: Assists the DON/CNO with directing, planning, coordinating, monitoring and supervising the effective and efficient use of the operations of nursing for assigned units. Oversees the delivery of behavioral health/nursing services in a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times. Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams, other departments and administration to ensure that all residents’ physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental and cultural needs are met and when they are not met, acknowledges and works to resolve customer complaints. Provide leadership to assure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as nursing practice standards. Recognizes that patient safety is a top priority.
