About the Role Were seeking a highly skilled Nurse Manager (RN) to serve as the clinical leader for our Assisted Living and Memory Care units. Starting Pay Range: $115,000 - $125,000 annually What Youll Get Make a visible impact . Oversee RN delegation, assessments, care planning, and change-of-condition evaluations to ensure safe, compliant, and person-centered care. Build and develop strong clinical teams. Supervise, coach, and develop Medication Technicians and nursing staff to deliver safe, confident, high-quality care. Drive meaningful change . Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing with the State of Washington.
- 2+ years of recent experience working with a senior population.
- 2+ years of recent RN Delegator experience.
- 3+ years supervising 10+ direct reports in a healthcare environment.
- Current CPR certification and BLS training.
- Background working with dementia, aging-related needs, and complex family dynamics.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced, 24/7 care environment.
- Demonstrates initiative, adaptability, and strong clinical judgment.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary clinical authority for Assisted Living and Memory Care.
- Lead the RN Delegation Program, including resident eligibility, task delegation, competency checks, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead, develop, and supervise Medication Technicians and nursing staff.
- Oversee care assessments, care planning, admissions, annual reviews, and change-of-condition evaluations.
- Manage incident reporting, investigations, documentation, and trend analysis.
- Ensure survey readiness through audits, corrective actions, and documentation integrity.
- Set clear expectations for clinical excellence, documentation, and safe practices.
- Partner with the Assisted Living Manager to align clinical and operational performance.
- Lead clinical quality assurance initiatives and performance improvement efforts.
- Strengthen medication management systems, infection prevention practices, and safety protocols.
- Track and resolve clinical grievances with timely follow-through.
- Partner with pharmacy, hospice, home health, and other providers to ensure coordinated care.
- Participate in committees and policy development to support organizational goals.
- Collaborate with Life Enrichment leadership to reinforce Memory Care practices.
- Develop and deliver training related to delegation, medication systems, safety, emergency procedures, and clinical risk management.
- Assess team learning needs and implement targeted training and coaching.
- Provide education to residents and families on clinical systems and care processes.
- Participate in the manager-on-call rotation to support clinical decision-making.
