The Nurse Manager of Heart Vascular Care Unit is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the unit, including managing staff, ensuring quality patient care, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The Nurse Manager will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to patients with heart and vascular conditions.

Manage and supervise nursing staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure quality patient care
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards
Monitor and manage unit budget and resources
Participate in performance improvement initiatives and quality assurance programs
Provide leadership and support to staff, promoting a positive work environment
Ensure patient and staff safety by maintaining a clean and organized work environment

Current RN license in the state of Texas
Bachelor's degree in nursing required, Master's degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
Experience in heart and vascular care strongly preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong leadership and management skills
Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards

Master's degree preferred
Experience in heart and vascular care strongly preferred
