About The Position
We are currently looking for a Nurse Manager in our NICU at Wolfson Children's Hospital. This is a full time day shift position. Our Level IV NICU is staffed with an unparalleled team of neonatal nurses, neonatologist and maternal-fetal specialists, 24 hours a day, providing the highest level of intensive care designated in Florida. The Nurse Manager is responsible for the daily operations of a nursing unit and supervising the nursing personnel in a particular unit or department. Other duties include: Delegates tasks to a nursing staff, manages and checks the nursing schedule, ensures that all shifts are covered Oversees patient care, make management and budgetary decisions, coordinate meetings, and make personnel decisions. Responsible for recruiting new team members and conducting performance reviews. Cert Note: ACLS & PALS not required for NICU Nurse Manager - NRP is required. Requirements
- 3-5 Years Nursing Experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
- Licensed Registered Nurse Required
- NRP is required
- Bachelor's Degree - Nursing
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Preferred
- Master's Degree
