About The Position

An established acute care hospital in Margate is seeking a Nurse Manager – Medical Telemetry to lead a 32–36 bed telemetry unit. This is a high-visibility leadership role where you will oversee operations, drive performance improvement, and ensure patient-centered care. The Nurse Manager will report directly to the Director of Nursing and lead a team that includes Clinical Nurse Coordinators (CNCs).

Requirements

• Current Florida RN license or compact licensure eligible for practice in Florida – Required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing – Required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (or must obtain within 30 days of hire).
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital experience.
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Charge Nurse or Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) in an acute care setting – Required.

• Prior leadership or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize, manage, and evaluate patient care functions for the Medical Telemetry unit.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and education to enhance patient outcomes.
• Serve as a role model for clinical excellence, patient safety, and customer satisfaction.
• Implement performance improvement and quality monitoring processes.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize care delivery.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to nursing staff.
