Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health is the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 20 years, integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC’s), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8. This integrated delivery system establishes a robust network of care for all District residents, but more importantly, it ensures residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high quality care in their community. This full-service hospital includes trauma care with a helipad for emergency transport, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, a NICU, Intensive care, Medical/Surgical care, Telemetry care, and a soon-to-be open ambulatory pavilion for clinic visits and other outpatient services. We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Multispecialty Nurse Manager Our ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the hospital’s Medical Surgical department, including overall delivery and quality of patient care. This manager will assist with developing and implementing performance initiatives, ensuring optimal patient safety outcomes, as well as state and regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
BSN required, MSN preferred
BLS and ACLS required
DC RN license required
Three years of Medical Surgical/Telemetry/Ortho/Neuro experience required
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and focused during high-pressure situations.
Commitment to upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Demonstrate a proven track record of commitment, with the ability to sustain employment for a minimum of two years. This requirement underscores our dedication to fostering long-term relationships with our team members and ensuring stability within our organization.
