About The Position
The Nurse Manager (MCAH) is responsible for leadership, human resources, budget, operations, and continuous improvement of their program(s) within the Maternal, Child, Adolescent Health (MCAH) Section of the San Francisco Department of Public Health. The mission of MCAH is to promote the health and well-being of San Francisco residents of childbearing age, infants, children, and adolescents, focusing on populations at increased risk of adverse health outcomes. The Nurse Manager will manage nursing care in various settings, develop and evaluate specialized programs, supervise Public Health Nurses and staff, and ensure compliance with nursing standards and quality improvement strategies.
