M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital, located in Edina, is looking for a dynamic Nurse Manager to lead our Intermediate Care Unit (IMC). Are you ready to join this team? Are you ready to make a difference in people's lives? M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital offers care to people living and working in the southwest Twin Cities metro area. With more than 40 specialty services, we combine talents to balance innovative technologies and treatments with the art of medicine. Working together, we respectfully address the comprehensive needs of our patients and their families. The Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) on Station 33 is a 30‑bed surgical specialty area that benefits from strong nursing leadership and a deeply collaborative, patient‑centered culture. As the nurse manager stepping into this role, you would oversee a team that cares for a wide range of high‑acuity surgical and medical patients, including vascular, bariatric, open heart, thoracic, GI, maxillofacial, and medically complex IMC populations. The unit provides telemetry and intermediate‑level care, supporting patients who require cardiac drips, continuous BiPAP/CPAP, new tracheostomies, and other advanced needs. RNs complete progressive IMC training during orientation, beginning with med‑surg patients and advancing to full IMC assignments, which creates a strong foundation for skill development and clinical growth. The environment is fast‑paced, challenging, and highly team‑oriented, supported by both a manager and a patient care supervisor who help maintain high standards of safety, quality, and interdisciplinary coordination. This unit is well‑suited for a leader who values collaboration, clinical excellence, and the opportunity to guide a team that thrives in a dynamic and diverse care setting.
