Nurse Manager – Inpatient Mental Health (IPMH) Lead with purpose. Advocate with heart. Shape the future of mental health care. Hutchinson Health is seeking a dynamic and passionate Nurse Manager to lead our 12‑bed Inpatient Mental Health Unit , serving both adolescents and adults. Grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) , our program is known for compassionate, evidence‑based care delivered through strong interdisciplinary collaboration. This is a meaningful leadership opportunity for an experienced mental health nurse leader who is energized by team development, clinical excellence, and advocacy for patients and staff. Why This Role Matters As Nurse Manager, you will play a pivotal role in setting the vision, culture, and clinical direction of Inpatient Mental Health Services. You will lead a dedicated team of nurses and work in close partnership with psychiatry, social services, and hospital leadership to ensure safe, high‑quality, and patient‑centered care.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a current Minnesota license
- Clinical experience in Mental Health , with demonstrated leadership capability
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and decision‑making skills
- Ability to lead with empathy, accountability, and sound clinical judgment
- 3–7 years of clinical experience required

Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and operational leadership for the Inpatient Mental Health Unit
- Oversee patient care delivery , staffing, and clinical quality outcomes
- Foster a supportive, engaged, and high‑performing nursing team through coaching and mentorship
- Collaborate closely with the VP of Patient Care Services/Chief Nurse Officer and the Mental Health Medical Director
- Ensure regulatory compliance and support continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Partner with other Nurse Managers across the organization to support shared initiatives and operational alignment
