About The Position

The Nurse Manager for Hospice assists the Department Director in planning, directing, and coordinating the operational, financial, and personnel activities of the designated departments. This role provides clinical and operational leadership for the areas assigned. The position is full-time with a focus on day shifts.

Requirements

• Current professional licensure as a Registered Nurse in New Mexico or Compact State.
• Minimum Associate Degree in Nursing with expectation of BSN completion within 3 years of hire.
• Professional emergency response training as specified by service area.
• Current BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required based on service area.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Experience in hospice or palliative care settings.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct team and unit operations.
• Oversee recruitment, interviewing, and selection of candidates.
