About The Position

The Nurse Manager for Family Practice & Forensics at UW Hospital & Clinics is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care programs. Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the State of Wisconsin is required.
• Three years of relevant clinical experience is required.
• Demonstrated progressive leadership experience is required.
• Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
• Five years of progressive leadership experience within the same or relevant practice area is preferred.
• Certification in relevant specialty is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care programs.
• Lead the day-to-day clinical operations and coordination of patient care services.
• Direct and evaluate the department's workforce, including staff scheduling and performance.
• Prepare and administer revenue and operating budgets, along with volume projections and oversight for FTEs.
