About The Position

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, responsible for the 24 hour management of the assigned unit assuring patient care meets the standard of care. Providing care to the patients and all components of the Emergency Room program.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• BSN required.
• Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience required.
• One (1) to two (2) years progressive management experience required.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
• Current BCLS Certification.
• Current ACLS Certification.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served.

Responsibilities

• Manage the assigned unit for 24 hours to ensure patient care meets the standard of care.
• Provide care to patients in the Emergency Room program.
• Collaborate with the nursing staff to maintain high-quality patient care.
• Implement performance improvement and patient safety standards.
• Support education and development programs for staff.
