About The Position
The position is within the Emergency Department (ED) at Ascension Saint Thomas Dekalb in Smithville, TN. This is a full-time day schedule role. The individual will manage activities, workflow, and nursing resources for one or more assigned specialty nursing areas, including Cardiovascular/Cath Lab, Surgical Services, Emergency/Triage, Endoscopy, Adult or Pediatric/NeoNatal Critical Care, and Labor & Delivery/Women & Family. The role requires ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements, developing and implementing policies and procedures, maintaining quality monitoring systems, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction among associates, patients, and physicians.
