We are actively seeking a highly motivated and experienced Critical Care Nurse Manager (RN) to join a leading hospital in Sanford, Florida . As the Nurse Manager for Critical Care , you will provide 24/7 leadership to ensure the highest standard of nursing care across assigned ICU departments. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining regulatory compliance, leading quality improvement initiatives, fostering a healing environment, and driving patient satisfaction across the board.
Requirements
- 3+ years recent acute care ICU leadership experience (within the last year)
- RN Diploma or Associate Degree required (BSN preferred)
- Active Florida RN License or compact license eligible
- Certifications (may be obtained after hire): BLS (within 30 days) NIH Stroke Scale (within 30 days) ACLS (within 6 months) PALS or ENPC (within 6 months)

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and clinical care in critical care units
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Lead quality initiatives, including core measures and service excellence goals
- Foster patient-centered communication and effective discharge planning
- Support staff development and create a culture of accountability and excellence
- Proactively engage in rounding and issue resolution to improve patient experience
