About The Position

The Nurse Manager 24/7 practice at Mayo Clinic is responsible for overseeing the operational, fiscal, and personnel activities within defined areas of practice to ensure quality patient care around the clock. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate nursing program and a Master's degree in Nursing, business, or a health-related field.
• Minimum of three years of nursing practice or progressive leadership experience required.
• Current state RN license or current license deemed acceptable by the State Board of Nursing.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and experience in the department's specialty preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in management preferred.
• One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of LPN experience at Mayo Clinic is preferred.

• Plan, direct, coordinate, and evaluate operational, fiscal, and personnel activities within defined areas of practice.

• Responsible for total work unit budget and shared decision making on the unit level.
• Act as a resource and facilitate collaboration between nursing personnel and other healthcare disciplines.
• Promote ongoing development of all staff and maintain a professional environment.
