Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Three (3) years' experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs.
  • Strong sense of accountability for improving patient lives.
  • Exceptional focus on teamwork and dedication to ongoing education.
  • Passion to deliver the highest quality of care.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in relevant field.
  • National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible.
  • Three (3) years' progressive leadership experience.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the provision of high-quality nursing care compliant with regulations.
  • 24/7 accountability for the assigned unit(s).
  • Daily operations and interprofessional collaboration.
  • Execution of policies & procedures and financial management.
  • Development of strategic projects and support of growth.
  • Assess, plan, implement, monitor and evaluate nursing practice.
  • Participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of nursing care and goals.
  • Manage day to day operations and ensure team members are knowledgeable in emergency/disaster response.
  • Monitor nursing standards of practice and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.
  • Develop, plan, evaluate and monitor budgetary and financial priorities.
  • Promote cost-effective use of organizational resources.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills and effective communication.
  • Supervise, plan, evaluate and monitor educational programs.
  • Support the Magnet Program Director and Magnet program.
  • Prioritize organizational goals and incorporate them into standard work.
  • Professionally review complaints or opportunities for improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
  • Adhere to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
