About The Position

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to lead the Cardiac Stepdown Unit. This role ensures high-quality, patient-centered care while managing staff, driving performance improvement initiatives, and maintaining fiscal responsibility. The Nurse Manager fosters a supportive, collaborative environment and provides 24/7 accountability for the unit.

Requirements

2+ years recent acute care leadership in critical care or cardiac stepdown.
BSN required; MSN or Master’s in a related field preferred.
Texas RN license or compact license accepted
National Specialty Certification (or plan to achieve within 1 year)
BLS and ACLS required

Nice To Haves

Magnet or Pathways facility experience preferred.
