About The Position

Anchor Hospital is seeking Dynamic and Talented FT Nurse Managers for Day Shift, working four days with 10-hour shifts (Tuesday-Friday). Established in 1986, Anchor Hospital specializes in the treatment of behavioral health and addictive disease disorders for teens, adults, and seniors. Our mental health facility in Atlanta, Georgia is located on a secluded, 55-acre campus, less than three miles from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and is accredited by the Joint Commission. Our continuum of services includes a 24/7 free, confidential psychiatric assessment by Georgia behavioral health professionals. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Requires 5 years experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Prefers at least 2 years in psychiatric nursing.
• At least 2 years in a leadership role or relative leadership demonstrated.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the delivery of quality nursing care for all patients on the In-patient units.
• Adjust staffing as necessary for the evening, night, and weekend shifts.
• Oversee all unit activities including admissions, discharges, crisis intervention, restraint and/or seclusion, and relieving for breaks or meals.
• Manage the Mental Health Associates, Registered Nurses, and LPNs working on the unit as part of the nursing team.
• Coordinate all medical codes, whether real or mock, and ensure they are carried out appropriately and safely.
