Job Requirements: A minimum of an Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Nursing field, five (5) to seven (7) years of nursing experience with RN license from the District of Columbia required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Incumbent should be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form, possess high-quality verbal and written communication ability, strong customer service skills, and be knowledgeable of all Department of Health and Department of Social Services regulations. Must be proficient in the operation of computer applications, general office and medical equipment. Current CPR certification required. Job Summary: This position is primarily responsible for functioning as the RN Nurse Manager in Assisted Living and Memory Support Assisted Living. Position also supports various nursing initiatives undertaken in the Skilled Nursing neighborhood to include collaborating with DON and ADON to design and implement clinical systems and processes; staff education; survey preparation activities; electronic systems migration and support; management of infection control/prevention activities in compliance with local and federal requirements; and other projects assigned by the Administrator. Additional duties include scheduling and providing medical services to employees and residents.
