About The Position

The Nurse Manager and Facility Administrator at Rapidcare Emergency Room is responsible for overseeing the nursing program, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and managing the operational aspects of the facility. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Current RN License.
• ACLS Certification.
• PALS Certification.
• BLS Certification.
• 3 years of supervisory experience in a nursing role.
• Experience in emergency medicine or free-standing ER.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with budget management and payroll processing.
• Knowledge of compliance with healthcare regulations such as OSHA and EMTALA.

Responsibilities

• Establish and revise policies, procedures, and methods for the nursing program.
• Advise and assist executive management in planning and developing administrative and operational policies.
• Coordinate, integrate, and evaluate functions and activities of the nursing program.
• Consult with executive management to align nursing activities with hospital operations.
• Analyze and evaluate the overall patient care program.
• Conduct periodic rounds of patient care units to monitor quality of care.
• Develop cooperative working relationships with other departments and community agencies.
• Direct the preparation and monitoring of the nursing budget.
• Prepare periodic reports concerning patient care and maintain accurate records.
• Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
• Record patients' medical information and vital signs, and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Maintain compliance with state regulations and oversee lab and pharmacy responsibilities.
