You'll monitor withdrawal symptoms, administer medications, coordinate care, and respond to emergent needs during the night shift.
Requirements
- Active LVN or LPN license in Texas
- Availability for night shifts (Wednesday and Thursday 7 PM–7 AM)
- High school diploma or GED
- CPR certification (or obtain prior to start)
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to stay calm, make decisions, and work independently overnight
Nice To Haves
- Experience in detox, addiction treatment, or behavioral health settings
- Familiarity with 12-step recovery principles
Responsibilities
- Complete thorough nursing assessments and withdrawal monitoring
- Supervise and document medication self-administration per physician orders
- Coordinate client admissions, intake orders, and physician communications
- Respond swiftly to medical and psychiatric emergencies
- Maintain infection control procedures and clinical documentation
- Serve as house supervisor overnight when necessary
- Provide end-of-shift handoff reports to day shift and clinical teams
