Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm Top Reasons why a Nursing position with Pyramid Healthcare - Mountaineer Outpatient is unique: Our Nurses do not have to assist with ADLs: All clients are independent for Bathing, feeding, grooming, personal hygiene, etc. No catheters, I/Vs/Ports/Midlines Our Nurses are not responsible for blood draws (we contract with a national lab who does them) There are minimal physical requirements for our Nursing positions: No heavy lifting, No long periods of standing/walking, etc. No paper MAR's - - we have active eMAR

Requirements

  • Current LPN license in West Virginia
  • Current CPR/BLS, AED and First Aid

Responsibilities

  • Complete initial Nursing Assessment with new admissions
  • Medication administration and medication education to clients
  • Knowledge and delivery of detox protocols (Complete COWS and CIWA scales)
  • Coordinate and support Medical providers with initial assessments and medication management appointments
  • Other duties as assigned
