About The Position

Fast Pace Health is seeking a highly-skilled Nurse (LPN or RN) to join their team in providing exceptional patient care in a friendly and encouraging environment. The role focuses on delivering clinical and administrative support under the supervision of healthcare providers, while promoting teamwork, communication, and quality care in rural communities.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as an LPN/RN preferred in a clinic setting, preferably urgent care.
• High School Diploma or its equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in community outreach programs and events.
• Knowledge of health information management issues such as HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support essential for effective patient care under the direct supervision of a Provider, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant.
• Maintain a compassionate and welcoming atmosphere for patients and respond quickly to changes in their condition.
• Fulfill responsibilities of the Patient Care Specialist and Scribe as detailed in their job descriptions.
• Deliver effective customer service for all internal and external customers using excellent knowledge and communication skills.
• Prepare exam and treatment rooms for patient intake and triage patients by checking vitals, performing blood draws, and giving injections.
• Observe patients, chart changes in their conditions, and take necessary actions based on observations.
• Assist with lab testing and phlebotomy, and help providers prepare for minor procedures and physicals.
• Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and arrange referrals to specialists as directed by the Provider.
• Maintain friendly relations with clients and employees, promoting a positive work atmosphere.
• Perform federal and non-federal DOT, BAT, and Drug Screen exams.
