Job Summary: Responsible for the development and implementation of the orientation program and on-going educational programs for staff in Residential Health to meet Federal, State, and local regulatory requirements and Casa policy.

Requirements

  • Current LVN license
  • Current CPR certification
  • Two years of staff development in long term care
  • Knowledge of CDPH, RCFE, OSHA, and Title 22
  • Strong assessment, organizational, and communications skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • All Employees must be able to pass background checks (fitness for duty physical, fingerprinting, employment references) as required by a licensed residential care facility.
  • Some of the roles in our community require that we ask about your COVID-19 vaccination status.

  • RCFE certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Plans, conducts, and evaluates organized orientation and training/education programs
  • Conducts new hire orientation, in-services, and skills assessments
  • Resident assessments, care plans, and chart audits
  • Responsible for nursing schedules including staffing for call-offs
