Job Summary: Responsible for the development and implementation of the orientation program and on-going educational programs for staff in Residential Health to meet Federal, State, and local regulatory requirements and Casa policy.
Requirements
- Current LVN license
- Current CPR certification
- Two years of staff development in long term care
- Knowledge of CDPH, RCFE, OSHA, and Title 22
- Strong assessment, organizational, and communications skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
- All Employees must be able to pass background checks (fitness for duty physical, fingerprinting, employment references) as required by a licensed residential care facility.
- Some of the roles in our community require that we ask about your COVID-19 vaccination status.

Responsibilities
- Plans, conducts, and evaluates organized orientation and training/education programs
- Conducts new hire orientation, in-services, and skills assessments
- Resident assessments, care plans, and chart audits
- Responsible for nursing schedules including staffing for call-offs
