You'll perform a wide array of skilled procedures, from continuous fetal monitoring and medication administration to circulating for C-sections and providing immediate newborn stabilization. Requirements
- Associate Of Nursing Diploma or Foreign Equivalent, upon hire
- Registered Nurse: AZ, upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 6 - months
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program, within 6 - months
Nice To Haves
- Bachelors Of Nursing
- One (1) year labor and delivery experience, upon hire
- Other NCC certification in inpatient OB, upon hire
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care tailored to the unique physiological and psychological needs of laboring, delivering, and postpartum mothers, as well as their newborns.
- Skillfully manage and prioritize patient care activities, balancing the dynamic and often rapid changes in labor with the comfort and emotional support of the patient and her family.
- Serve as a dedicated advocate for patients' needs, ensuring a holistic approach to care that encompasses physical, emotional, and cultural aspects of birth.
- Exhibit exceptional ability to recognize and adapt swiftly to changes in patients' condition in a timely and clinically appropriate manner during critical moments.
