IF offered an RN promotion, must be comfortable committing long term to working night shift. The nurse intern position requires one 12 hour shift per week and could be on any shift based on preceptor assignments. Must be able to commit to this schedule while in school. Seeking December 2026 grads to start March 23, 2026- strongly prefer candidates with hospital cna or tech experience . Must be able to attend a New Hire Welcome session on March 23rd- if you have class or clinical on that date you'll need to make alternate arrangements with your school faculty. Cardiac Pediatric Critical Care- W3 The Cardiac Pediatric Critical Care Unit is a 24-bed intensive care unit. Staff provides admission-to-discharge care for children with known cardiac anomalies requiring surgical or medical management. Under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, performs nursing tasks for which he/she has been trained and has demonstrated competency through a skills checklist. Senior level status in any nursing program required. Ability to communicate and understand detailed instructions relating to basic patient care and transport. Must be able to work and stand for long periods, as well as lift and position patients weighing up to 75 pounds. Children's Wisconsin is an equal opportunity / affirmative action employer.
