About The Position

The Health Screener at Quest Diagnostics is responsible for conducting health screenings in the field, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in the process. This role involves performing various health assessments, maintaining a safe environment, and providing exceptional customer service while adhering to established health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Some college courses required
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience in a professional setting preferred
• Proficient with finger sticks and manual blood pressure
• Ability to understand and perform complex procedures and techniques
• Skills required for proper specimen and reagent handling, labeling, processing, preparation, transportation, and storage
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills including access to internet/email
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Outlook, and Excel

Nice To Haves

• Cholestech and/or Cardio Check experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform biometric screening at client sites including finger stick blood collection, BMI, Blood Pressure and other health screening services based on service package
• Perform basic waived testing technical procedures on blood samples and complete required quality control
• Provide exceptional customer service at all health screenings
• Maintain accurate, complete, and legible records
• Participate in training/retraining and continuing education programs as necessary
• Comply with all designated safety policies and procedures in the work area, including the use of applicable protective equipment
• Understand and comply with applicable federal, state and local laws
• Adhere to quality assurance procedures and good manufacturing practices
• Maintain all HIPAA and OSHA standards while on events
• Perform other related duties as necessary
