About The Position

As a Nurse Extern, you will be responsible for the following: Performs specific tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse. Demonstrates accountability for assigned patients on shift or assignment. Seeks out learning opportunities and guidance from appropriate individuals. Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager or a Registered Nurse, the Nurse Extern will carry out routine patient care assignments, work in controlled care situations, and perform established nursing procedures for individuals or groups of patients. Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Nursing
Completed at least one (1) semester of medical surgical clinical rotation
CPR certified in Pennsylvania
The working requirements are 48 hours in a 6 week schedule with 24 of those hours must be worked on the weekend and 1 holiday per year.
