A Nurse Extern works under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Reports to: Unit Manager, Accountable to: Chief Nursing Officer. FLSA: Non-exempt. Requirements

• School of Nursing 1-2nd year student or higher
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
