About The Position

Seeking a Nurse Extern for our facility who provides clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care. As a Nurse Extern, you will function under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse and perform specific and assigned tasks, which are supportive of all patient populations. Requirements

Must be currently enrolled in an approved RN Program and completed Fundamentals of Nursing
A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Nice To Haves

1+ years of nursing school completed, or as mandated by state of practice preferred

Responsibilities

You will provide adequate daily patient care and report information to Team Leader.
You will provide a safe and confidential environment for the patient.
You will accept accountability for completion of assignments, demonstrate reliability and dependability, adhere to attendance policies, and utilize time and resources efficiently.
You will reflect the values of HCA Healthcare and our ethics and compliance principles in your daily activities (as stated in Code of Conduct).
You will commit to work 24 hours a month.
