Nurse Extern - ER
About The Position
The Nurse Extern assists in providing basic and intermediate nursing care to an assigned group of patients across various units, including General Nursing, Special Care, Maternal Child (Labor and Delivery, Nursery, Pediatric), GI Lab, Behavioral Health and Geropsychiatric, Emergency, and Acute Rehab. This role involves providing essential assistance and comfort to patients to ensure a positive healthcare experience. The extern is expected to work at least eight hours per pay-period, with shifts assigned in increments of 4, 8, 10, and 12 hours, and must complete established competencies within a designated introductory period.
