About The Position

The Nurse Extern position at ScionHealth is designed for individuals who are in the final stages of their nursing education or have recently graduated from an accredited RN program. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN program awaiting to take NCLEX or in the final year of an accredited RN program.
• Completion of clinical rotations in an accredited RN program.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
• Support professional nursing personnel in providing patient care in the assigned area.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide personal care.
• Offer education and emotional support to patients.
• Perform more complex clinical skills under the direct supervision of the RN.
