About The Position
The Nurse Extern Summer Program at Fox Chase Cancer Center is designed for nursing students who have completed their junior year in an accredited BSN program. This program allows externs to assist registered nurses (RNs) by performing patient care activities and specific functions they have been trained for. The externs will be accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee, integrating the hospital's customer service principles into their patient care activities.
