About The Position
Corewell Health is pleased to announce our 2025 Summer Immersion Program for nursing students looking to enhance their academic knowledge and further develop their clinical skills through a hands-on experience with a nurse preceptor. The Nurse Extern will be paired up with a Nurse Preceptor for this 10-week program beginning May 19, 2025, working (3) 12-hour shifts per week. Working hours are generally 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. We will offer placements in a variety of clinical specialties at each of our 8 hospital campuses which may include Med/Surg, Progressive Care, Critical Care, and Emergency. Applications will be accepted through Friday, March 7, 2025. Orientation begins on May 19, 2025.
