About The Position
The Nurse Extern I position at Novant Health is designed for individuals who are looking to gain hands-on experience in a healthcare setting while assisting nursing staff in providing patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with personal hygiene, taking vital signs, changing bed linens, and ensuring the comfort of patients. You will also be involved in serving and collecting food trays, providing nourishment between meals, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of medical supplies. This position requires a compassionate approach to patient care and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
