Requirements

• Current, active RN license issued by the State of Oregon
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience OR current employment as a Nurse with Mercy Medical Center
• Essential Certifications (or willingness to obtain within specified timeframe): AHA BLS for healthcare providers, ACLS within 3 months of hire, PALS within 6 months of hire, TNCC within 1 year of hire
• Associate's Degree in Nursing

Nice To Haves

• Completed competencies in the Emergency Department
• Current certification in TNCC, PALS, and ACLS

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate, life-saving care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Swiftly assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for diverse patient populations from initial triage to discharge.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.
• Apply critical thinking to complex situations.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort are always paramount.
