About The Position

The Nurse Educator serves as a clinical expert, educator, researcher, and mentor for the assigned area. This position functions in a team environment to provide support to clinical practice.

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is required, or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with enrollment in a MSN program.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing plus a national specialty certification and Nursing Professional Development Certification or Healthcare Simulation Educator Certification is required.
• Minimum of five years of full-time nursing experience.
• At least three years of experience in a related nursing specialty.
• Demonstration of experience in curriculum development and implementation of adult learning principles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical expert in nursing education.
• Provide mentorship and support to nursing staff.
• Engage in research related to nursing education and practice.
