Location: University of Oklahoma Medical Center, this position will cover downtown Adult Emergency Department, Edmond Medical Center, and the Freestanding ED/Urgent care facilities. A dedicated and collaborative nursing professional committed to advancing clinical excellence in the Emergency Department by providing evidence‑based education, real‑time coaching, and competency development for nursing staff. Skilled in assessing learning needs, designing high‑impact training, and reinforcing best practices that ensure safe, timely, and patient‑centered care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Partners closely with ED leadership and interdisciplinary teams to strengthen clinical judgment, elevate performance, and support continuous improvement. Models the Patients First philosophy by promoting critical thinking, fostering psychological safety, and empowering nurses to deliver exceptional care during every patient encounter. Under general supervision, performs professional work in all phases of a comprehensive staff development and training program for an assigned unit.
