The primary role of this position will be to assist with education/training for new to specialty staff, unit-based education, and on-boarding needs. .8 FTE

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required
• Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Washington
• Health Care Provider CPR Certification
• Three years nursing experience in acute healthcare within OR setting

Nice To Haves

• Masters degree in Nursing (MN,MSN) or Master's of Education (M.Ed) preferred
• Experience in adult education, teaching, program planning, development, coordination and evaluation process highly desired
• Experience in quality improvement efforts, facilitation and group process knowledge and skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with education/training for new to specialty staff
• Conduct unit-based education
• Support on-boarding needs for nursing staff
