About The Position

Provides high quality abstraction and improvement services following regulatory agencies’ specifications while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality. Primary responsibility is to collect and submit reliable data for all assigned registries and databases. Ensures the completeness, accuracy and consistency of the data based on the quality standards expected from the various regulatory agencies and registries.

Requirements

• Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, and one to two years of previous work related experience.
• Licensure required as a Registered Nurse by the State of New Jersey.
• Required department specific orientation and department specific certifications such as BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support).
• Requires analytical skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment, attention to detail and problem resolution.
• Must possess strong customer service, communication, organizational & interpersonal skills.
• Effective January 2019, St. Joseph’s Health requires all employee certifications for Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) to be granted through the American Heart Association
