About The Position

The Research Nurse Coordinator position at Emory University Hospital & Emory Midtown Hospital involves working approximately 20 hours per week. The role focuses on supporting clinical trials by screening candidates, collecting and maintaining trial data, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• 2–3 years of clinical research coordination or equivalent clinical trial experience.
• Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and IRB processes.
• Proficiency with electronic data capture systems and medical record documentation.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills with ability to maintain audit-ready records.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with investigators, monitors, and clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Screen candidates for clinical trials by reviewing medical records and ensuring protocol-required testing is completed.
• Collect, enter, and maintain clinical trial data in binders and electronic databases; attend procedures to capture non-standard-of-care data.
• Upload imaging files for review and troubleshoot transmission errors.
• Prepare for and support monitoring visits, ensuring data completeness, accuracy, and audit-readiness.
• Document and report adverse events, including coordinating with outside medical facilities for records.
