Hines & Associates is seeking a Nurse Coordinator to join our Peer Review Team. Once trained, you will have the flexibility to work from home 50% of the time. Requirements

• Active IL RN license
• Experience working in an acute care clinical setting
• Ability to effectively communicate
• Ability to type at least 35 WPM

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Utilization Review RNs, Case Managers, and Physician Reviewers to process cases through the physician review process.
• Assign cases to the appropriate physician specialty for review.
• Conduct quality assurance of final physician reports to ensure rationale is supported by patient records and evidence-based literature.
• Notify assigned UR or CM nurse of the determination for processing on their end.
• Ensure the physician review is completed within the appropriate timeframe.
