About The Position

As a Registered Nurse Clinician, you have the opportunity to work with various neurological specialties such as; Headache and Concussion, Movement Disorders, Multiple Sclerosis and Stroke patients within a health system that is nationally recognized. In this position as a Registered Nurse clinician, you will be the subject matter expert for patient education, assessment, interpretation, and documentation of patient care and testing. As a brand new position for our growing health system, our Nurse Clinicians will utilize autonomy and critical thinking skills to collaborate with leadership in developing this position and best practices for the clinic. Schedule Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm. We are looking for a solution focused experienced Registered Nurse who makes the patient experience a top priority and enjoys participating in continuous improvement initiatives to make a team stronger. In this position, you will perform phone triage, provide patient education, assist patients with pre-visit planning, review lab results with the patients, assist with prescription refills, and ensures staff works within scope of practice while putting the patient first. Requirements

  • Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year
  • Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross
  • Registered Nurse - Various
  • Associate Degree

Responsibilities

  • Provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices.
  • Responsible for telephone triage, patient flow, and coordination of patient care.
  • Schedules emergent need patient appointments, identifies learning needs for patients and families, provide advice and recommendations.
  • Delegates tasks to clinical staff in accordance with demonstrated competencies and consideration to Scope of Practice.
  • Enters admission orders as directed by provider.
  • Responsible for managing expired samples.
  • Able to work in a team atmosphere as well as autonomously.
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor at all times.
  • May be responsible for covering Medical Assistant job duties, LPN job duties, or other office duties as needed.
