Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • Diploma in Nursing; Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
  • Registered Nurse; Licensed to practice nursing in the State of Texas.
  • Basic Life Support from an American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross approved program.
  • One (1) year full time RN experience or completion of GN Program.

  • Exceptional Verbal Communication Skills (e.g., Public Speaking).

  • Recognize when assistance is needed and seek appropriate resources.
  • Apply standards, principles, and algorithms to clinical situations.
