About The Position

The IMA Group is expanding across New Jersey and seeking experienced Field Nurse Case Managers to join our growing 1099 network. Build a schedule that works for you—whether you prefer a few cases or a full caseload—while using your expertise to drive better outcomes for injured workers.

Requirements

• Active RN license
• 3+ years of Workers’ Compensation Field Case Management experience
• Malpractice liability insurance (or ability to obtain)
• Strong computer and documentation skills
• Reliable transportation for local travel within assigned areas
• Access to personal computer and phone

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual skills a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical case management for injured workers
• Collaborate with physicians, providers, employers, attorneys, and insurance carriers
• Evaluate treatment plans for medical necessity and cost-effectiveness
• Coordinate Independent Medical Evaluations (IMEs) and conduct job site assessments
• Monitor patient progress and provide recommendations to stakeholders
• Manage caseload priorities and develop strategic care plans
• Attend appointments and complete timely, detailed reports
