Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient. Demonstrates accountability for own ethical behavior and supports ethical practice by addressing and/or escalating issues. Serves as an advovate for patient needs by demonstrating holistic care practices. Demonstrates the ability to recognize and adapt to changes in patients condition (i.e. lab, vitals, signs and test values) in a timely and clinically appropriate manner. Utilizes SBAR format tool to notify physicians, and other providers of clinical findings, performs nurse-to-nurse report at the bedside.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Active Nursing license in good standing valid to work in Arizona
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support card (AHA BLS)
  • Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support card (AHA ACLS) within 90 days of hire
  • One year recent acute care experience

  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN)
