Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient. Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient. Utilizes SBAR format tool to notify physicians, and other providers of clinical findings, performs nurse to nurse report at the bedside. Demonstrates the ability to recognize and adapt to changes in patients condition (i.e. Lab, vitals, signs and test values) in a timely and clinically appropriate manner. Uses knowledge of cultural differences to provide patient care that is sensitive to and consistent with cultural values, beliefs, and customs. Recognizes limits of scope of practice, seeks multidisciplinary collaboration, utilizes appropriate resources, and follows chain of command. Demonstrate accountability for own ethical behavior, and support ethical practice by addressing and/or escalating issues. Assumes accountability for decisions made. Holds self and others accountable for effective communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Of Science
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • 1-3 years One year recent acute care experience, upon hire and Registered Nurse: AZ, upon hire
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • American Heart Association ACLS within 60 Days

Responsibilities
